Mac App Store 10.6.8 - Device not verified SOLVED I've had my PC for a while and just recently decided to install OS X onto a spare hard drive I had. Since this is my first Hackintosh and I don't own a Mac, I have installed Snow Leopard and updated it to 10.6.8 ready to move to Yosemite.
When I went to sign in to the app store I got the 'Your device or computer could not be verified. Contact support for assistance.'
Error that seems to be common. After looking online I found a few popular fixes, and none have worked for me. After running MultiBeast I already had both 'PCIRootUID' and 'EthernetBuiltIn' set to '1' and 'yes' respectively in my 'org.chameleon.Boot.plist' so didn't change anything there. I then removed everything in network preferences and deleted 'NetworkInterfaces.plist' and rebooted. Sadly, no luck.
If anyone can shed some light on my situation I would be very grateful. CPU: i5 2500 MoBo: GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3 (F12 BIOS) RAM: 8GB Corsair 1600MHz (Running at 1333MHz due to CPU support.) GPU: HD6870 Network: TP-Link WDN4800 (Used for internet connection). I've had my PC for a while and just recently decided to install OS X onto a spare hard drive I had.
